But what about the formalities of crossing the border? Until May 2022, everything was relatively simple — athletes followed the same Border Crossing Rules as all other citizens (Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 57 of 1995). Then the changes began...
And here “gaps” in the legislation appear. For example, no one really thought through how to guarantee that athletes, after leaving for competitions, would necessarily return home. This concerns both sports stars and less titled athletes.
