The monograph was published through the joint efforts of the Drohobych State Pedagogical University named after Ivan Franko and the Center for Ukrainian-European Scientific Cooperation.
Ganna Gnizdovska, an attorney specializing in sports law, prepared the section:
"Problematic Issues of Legal Regulation of Sports Development during 2014-2022"
The section analyzes:
- The State Target Social Program for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports until 2020, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 115 dated March 1, 2017;
- The impact of the war on the development of sports in Ukraine;
- Current problems and challenges faced by Ukrainian sports.
Based on the analysis, the conclusion was made about the need for:
- Implementing reforms in the sports sector to align it with European requirements and standards;
- Improving national anti-doping legislation;
- Introducing the autonomy of sports federations.
We are convinced that a deep study of the problems of sports development in Ukraine, presented in the monograph, will become a valuable source of information for professionals in this field and will contribute to the development of effective solutions.
