The Forum brought together lawyers, sports officials, managers, athletes, and academics to debate the most urgent challenges facing modern sport. Participants also witnessed the draw for the UBA Football CUP 2025.

Key topics of discussion included:
- sanctions against athletes from the aggressor state and their legal basis 🟥;
- doping in new dimensions and the challenges of anti-doping policy 💊;
- conscription deferrals for athletes and the legal aspects of mobilization during wartime ⚔️;
- commercialization of sport and the role of agents 🤝;
- the balance between the state, sports federations, and athletes themselves ⚖️.
The speakers’ presentations triggered lively debates, with questions coming one after another. Although every “last question” inevitably turned into a “second-to-last” 😅, the session somehow still managed to finish on schedule.
“Moderating the first session was a real challenge: the debates were so heated that each ‘last question’ quickly became the ‘penultimate one’. But this intensity itself is proof that sports law in Ukraine is alive, relevant, and continues to develop even in the most difficult times”, shared Ganna Gnizdovskaya.
The atmosphere of the Forum was dynamic and inspiring: passionate presentations, sharp questions, and animated discussions even during coffee breaks ☕️. In between, participants also took photos with the “almost golden ball” – the prize for first place at the UBA Football CUP 2025 🏆.
