On 15 December 2023, the first meeting of the Anti-Doping Appeals Committee of the National Anti-Doping Center was held in Kyiv.
The selection of candidates took place in the autumn, and new members were appointed at the end of October.
The NADC Appeals Committee is a body that ensures athletes (and other persons) the right to a fair and impartial review of cases in the event of an alleged anti-doping rule violation. Its members include lawyers, doctors, coaches, and representatives of the sports and scientific communities.
The Managing Partner of Juris Ferrum, Ganna Gnizdovska, a sports law attorney, successfully passed the selection process and joined the Anti-Doping Appeals Committee — and in December, she was elected Deputy Chair of the Committee.
“For me, this is more than just a title — it is an opportunity to be part of meaningful changes in the clean sport sphere,” Hanna shared with the team.
