Managing Partner of Juris Ferrum Law Firm to Join Laba’s Course on Sports Business Management as Guest Lecturer

We’ve been meaning to share this news since winter — when negotiations were still ongoing, the curriculum was under development, and the course schedule was being finalized. But we decided to keep some intrigue. And now, we can finally make it official.

Керуюча партнерка АО «Юріс Феррум» — запрошена лекторка курсу «Управління спортивним бізнесом» від Laba.

Ganna Gnizovskaya, PhD in Law, sports lawyer, and Managing Partner of Juris Ferrum, will be one of the guest lecturers for the “Sports Business Management” course hosted by Laba.

As always, her lecture won’t be about theory — but about real-world practice. About what truly happens in sports clubs, schools, and academies — when an inspection knocks on the door, the coach’s contract is signed on a napkin, and the data protection policy exists only in draft form.

🎓 Lecture topic: “Legal Aspects of Managing Sports Facilities”

In her lecture, Ganna Gnizovskaya will address the issues that sports business managers often postpone — until the first audit, or the first demand for a refund. And these postponed matters tend to become the most critical.

The lecture will cover, among other things:
— choosing the appropriate legal structure for a sports business;
— licenses, certificates, and insurance required for launch and stable operation;
— structuring contractual relationships with clients, including liability and personal data protection;
— employment agreements and civil law contracts with coaches, as well as contractor due diligence;
— handling inspections: powers of oversight bodies, management rights, and common legal pitfalls.

💬 “Sport is business. But business is always about law. That’s the intersection we’ll explore in this lecture,” — says the lecturer.

🧭 The course “Sports Business Management” is a practical guide for:
— managers of sports clubs, federations, and leagues;
— marketing and PR professionals working in sports;
— entrepreneurs planning to invest in sports projects;
— anyone looking to grow in sports management and lead sports institutions effectively.
